Established in 1739 by Royal Charter as the UK’s oldest children’s charity, Coram is today a dynamic group of specialist organisations helping around 1 million children and families each year.
At the heart of our vision is the creation of the National Centre of Excellence for Children and the redevelopment of our historic campus.
We are now looking for applications for those with board level experience in a number of areas who are keen to make an active contribution to improving the lives of our more vulnerable children. Areas of desired expertise include treasurer/financial (Coram Beanstalk), children’s social care (Coram Voice), education/ family law (CCLC) legal/international research (CCLC) education/business/commercial development (CLE).
Trustees are appointed for a term of four years, renewable for a further four years. You will be required to attend meetings on a monthly basis, for which reasonable expenses will be paid.
