Turning Dreams into Action At The Pace of The Individual
An independent, registered charity, formed in 1987 to provide support to vulnerable adults and children particularly people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues and physical disabilities, their family and carers.
Our aim is to enable people:
- to be heard
- to have more control over their lives
- to achieve personal aims and dreams
- to be safe from harassment and abuse
- to be increasingly independent,
- to access, participate in, contribute to and influence the local and wider community.
We are affiliated to National Mencap and part of the North West London Mencap Consortium – 7 local Mencap's working together to improve opportunities for people with learning disabilities.
A Resource Centre that provides supported day opportunity activities and drop in advice and support.
Our Floating Support & CQC Registered personal care service supports 75+ people to live independently in the community. Staff are currently providing 700+ hours of support per week funded through individual's personal budgets
Our highly committed Trustees and Service User Members of the Council of Management who help to guide, advise, plan and monitor all that we do, ensuring that we provide the best possible standard of support and promote the rights of our members to live the lives they wish and choose.
