Non-Executive Director with UK retail financial services experience

The Bank’s history is well chronicled but since 2013, under the guidance of Dennis Holt as Chair, the Bank has embarked on a restructuring with a strengthened Executive team.

The Bank's overarching strategy is to leverage its brand strength and high levels of customer service and build a bank with a reduced overall risk profile and reduced risk-weighted assets. It is achieving this by reshaping the business as a core relationship bank providing straightforward business banking and retail banking services to individuals and SMEs. It is also restructuring the bank’s operating model to drive a significant reduction of the cost base.

The bank is now looking to recruit a Non-Executive Director with UK retail financial services experience (ideally retail banking). This is an essential criteria.

Non-Executive Director Experience would be an advantage as would experience of organisational/digital transformation.
