Chair - Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust
We are looking for an exceptional leader to chair Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH). This is a unique opportunity to lead the Board of Directors as it continues to provide high quality, sustainable services to its patients mainly across the London boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond, but also to a wider group of the population across south London. By sharing your talents and expertise in this role, you would be able to help transform this vital service and make a positive difference to your community.
Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) is the NHS trust responsible for providing community health services for over 515,000 people living across the London boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond-upon-Thames.
As the local NHS community services provider, HRCH plays a crucial role in improving the health and well-being of local people across the London boroughs of Hounslow, Richmond, and the wider environs of South London. With increasing emphasis on partnership working, around 1000 professional and clerical staff deliver holistic healthcare services without boundaries or borders, with an increased focus on collaborating with GPs, commissioners, local NHS partner organisations in the North West and South West London integrated care systems and patients, carers and patient groups.
Community health services cover most care services provided outside of acute hospitals or GP surgeries, ‘cradle-to-grave’ services that many of us take for granted. Staff provide a wide range of care for local people; from supporting patients and the public to manage their health and wellbeing generally to managing long-term conditions and to treating those who are seriously ill with more complex conditions.
We are looking for candidates who want to use their energy, skills and experience to help drive the delivery of sustainable healthcare services for the people of Hounslow and Richmond, and some surrounding areas.

Closing date for receipt of applications: 3 April 2019 at 12 noon.
We value and promote diversity and are committed to equality of opportunity for all and appointments made on merit. We believe that the best boards are those that reflect the communities they serve.
We particularly welcome applications from women, people from the local black and minority ethnic communities, and disabled people who we know are under-represented in chair and non-executive roles.
Our recruitment processes are conducted in accordance with the Code of Governance to ensure that they are made on merit after a fair and open process so that the best people, from the widest possible pool of candidates, are appointed.
