Lloyds Bank Foundation is searching for three passionate, strategic and forward-thinking individuals to join its Board of Trustees on its mission to support small and local charities across England & Wales
Lloyds Bank Foundation of England & Wales is an independent charitable trust funded by the profits of Lloyds Banking Group, which partners with small and local charities helping people overcome complex social issues such as mental health, homelessness and domestic abuse. Their size and understanding of the people and local communities they work with means they’re able to make life-changing impact where others can’t.
2018 saw the culmination of a four-year strategy which awarded £73 million worth of long-term grants and developmental support to 1,380 small and local charities to improve 142,000 lives. After a transformative period of growth, the Foundation is excited to embark on the next step in its strategic plan and broaden the experience of the board with diverse and forward-thinking perspectives.
Being a Trustee is a deeply rewarding experience which promises to change the lives of those facing complex social issues across England and Wales. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following:
- A strong appreciation of the needs of communities (and especially the needs of disadvantaged people within them)
- Specific expertise in one or more of the following:

- Expertise in welfare / mental health
