Shoreham Port Welcomes Namrata Nadkarni to their Board

Shoreham Port are delighted to welcome award-winning journalist Namrata Nadkarni to the Board this month. Namrata has 18 years’ experience in editorial and marketing within the maritime and offshore sectors, working on international print titles as well as digital media and events. She has written for many of the world’s best-known maritime titles such as Lloyd’s List, Ports and Harbors magazine, BIMCO Bulletin, The Marine Professional and Seatrade Magazine and Ship & Offshore magazine, to name a few.

In January 2020, Namrata founded content creation consultancy Intent Communications, which aims to join the dots between the maritime, offshore and logistics sectors. She is a vocal advocate of collaborative working and believes that transparent communication is the cornerstone of meaningful progress.

Namrata is also passionate about making maritime more inclusive and also holds the position of Chair of the Communications and Events Working Group for the Diversity in Maritime Network at Maritime UK. She is also a member of The Diversity in Maritime Taskforce.

I’m thrilled to be joining the Board at Shoreham Port and look forward to building on the fantastic work done so far. I am keen to use my expertise to build stronger connections with stakeholders, the local community and the maritime sector such that the Port continues to grow.
