Would you like to use your skills and experience to help shape and influence a highly effective organisation that is dedicated to social impact?

Social Tech Trust is at an exciting stage and we are seeking exceptional candidates for a number of new Trustee roles. We have a clear purpose to transform lives with tech, an expert team, and a strong portfolio of social tech start-ups.

We are looking for new trustees who share our entrepreneurial, purposeful and hard-working ethos and particularly welcome applications from those with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Investment experience in venture capital,impact investing or a related field;
  • Tech development (ideally tech applied to social challenges);
  • Lived experience of social tech entrepreneurship;
  • Communications;
  • Legal;
  • Social transformation;
  • Policy.

The Trust embraces diversity and we want to diversify our Board in terms of skills, background and life experience. We welcome all applications and particularly those from women, individuals from racially diverse backgrounds and people with a disability as they are currently under-represented on our Board. We also welcome applications from individuals who reflect the wide range of socio-economic backgrounds in the UK and are especially interested to talk to those that can bring lived experience of social challenges to the Trustee team. We are recruiting three trustees and are willing to consider appointing one or more with no previous experience as well as looking to bring on at least one with Board experience.
