St. George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides integrated care and major trauma centre services to south west London, Surrey and beyond. The challenges St George’s currently face are significant. They include the need to modernise the estate on the St George’s site and the IT infrastructure across the trust, significantly strengthen financial and operational performance while maintaining and enhancing the quality of care we provide. We’re on a journey and we’ve made significant progress but don’t underestimate the challenges to come.
We are seeking two experienced and talented individuals who will add value to our Board in refreshing our strategy and overseeing the performance of the Trust. We’re seeking particular senior leadership expertise in one or more of the following: HR, Organisational Development, Transformation or Finance (ACA or equivalent).
You will need a track record of achievement at board level in an organisation of similar complexity and an understanding of the NHS context, you will also need strategic perspective, sound judgement and firm commitment to improving public services. Your breadth of experience and wisdom will be complemented by resilience, tenacity and a collegiate approach.
