Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust

Non-Executive Directors

Remuneration £12,500 plus an additional £2,000 for the Chair of Audit; time commitment circa 4 -5 days a month

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is at the forefront of ground-breaking change in the delivery of Health and Social Care Services for the populations of Tameside and Glossop.  On the 1st September this year we formed one of the first integrated health and social care organisations in the country with income of £165,500,000 and around 3,600 staff.  We are responsible for providing Health, Social Care and Public Health services working with a single commissioning organisation across the local system.

We are committed to radically transforming the delivery of health and care services for local people to improve healthy life expectancy and ensure we have a clinically and financially sustainable Health and Social Care system for the future.  As an integral partner in Greater Manchester Devolution, we are working collaboratively across the region to ensure we maximise this historic opportunity.  At this exciting time we are seeking three new Non-Executive Directors to join our ambitious Board.

Our new Non-Executive Directors will need to be innovative leaders of complex change and bring challenge, support and passion.  An understanding of robust corporate governance and a commitment to our values will be essential.  For one of the roles we seeking a leader with a strong financial background to chair our audit committee, for the second we are interested in hearing from leaders in other parts of the public sector who can bring a different perspective on health determinants, and for the third we are seeking experience of leading person centred services in the voluntary or community sector.

These will be challenging and highly rewarding roles which come at a historic time and offer you the opportunity to improve health outcomes for our population now and in the future.  For more information and to apply visit www.gatenbysanderson.com and search for Tameside. Or you can have an informal discussion with our advising consultants at GatenbySanderson: Emma Pickup or Jack Dart on 0113 205 6289.

Closing date: Monday 21 November 2016
