Non-Executive Director - The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust
The Dudley Group is looking for a talented and ambitious Non-executive Director. The position requires an outstanding individual who can work as part of a unitary board to hold the Board to account for the setting and delivery of its stated ambition within the applicable national frameworks.
The NHS has experienced a great number of challenges in recent years, with a marked increase in demand on services and challenging financial circumstances. We are also playing a role in the arrangements for multi-speciality community provision of services, maintaining a strong vision to enable patients with long-term conditions to manage their care at home rather than in hospital.

We want an achiever whose ambitions meet the same expectations as our staff and patients. Ideally you should live within Dudley or its surrounding area or have a strong association with Dudley through work, family or other connections. We are looking for someone who understands acute hospital provision, has experience at senior/board level and who will be able to demonstrate the qualities necessary to help take the Trust forward and promote the interests of our service users. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who have a clinical background and can apply their knowledge and networks at a non-executive level to enhance our Board and Quality Committee.
