We are seeking to appoint a Non-Executive Director to join our Board and we are looking for someone of real talent and ability. The successful candidate will be expected to bring independent judgement to the Board and we are seeking a balance of skills and experience which could come from the areas of healthcare, finance, legal, commerce, business and other professions, from the public, voluntary or private sectors.
An understanding of the key business drivers which make organisations successful and strong governance experience, operating in a large private, voluntary or public sector environment at Board or equivalent level; would be welcome.
You will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to the NHS and a genuine interest in healthcare.
The time commitment for Non-Executive Directors is expected to be in the range of 2 to 4 days per month. The actual commitment will require some flexibility to fit in with the business cycle.
