The Non Executive Director will be required between 1 and 2 days per month. The organisation wishes to attract a candidate with diverse accountancy, treasury, capital setting, Asset/liability and financial management experience. An individual who is capable of providing a range of skills and experiences who is capable of contributing to the continued successful running of the organisation.

Description

The NED will be a fully contributing member of the board and of the audit risk and compliance committee. They will help provide sound financial stewardship inline with regulatory requirements. Equally important will be the wide ranging commercial contribution to the continued growth and financial health of the organisation.

Profile

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with a financial services background. A qualified accountant who is likely that they will be trained in an audit/practice environment. Individuals are required with demonstrable evidence of strong P&L and balance sheet management experience. The candidate is likely to have held Finance Director post's and been responsible for the treasury and the capital setting functions. Candidates must also be able contribute to the wider management of the organisation and be capable of constructively challenging the status quo. Likewise the desire to develop their own skill base outside of their areas of specialism is desirable. Candidates without Non-Executive Director experience who wish to pursue a NED career will be considered as will those from a purely audit experience.

Job Offer

£16,500 per annum
