Anglo Saxons Friendly Society is a mutual insurer formed in 1877 and based in Gravesend , Kent.

It is part way through a modernisation programme and is now seeking to strengthen its Board further, to ensure it has the right mix of business skills and a Board which is more diversified than is currently the case.

Vacancies currently exist and the Society is particularly interested to hear from people who have experience in any of the fields of

  • insurance (senior manager level),
  • actuarial,
  • information technology,
  • property management and
  • marketing communications.

The Society is regulated by both the Prudential Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority and being familiar with operating within this regulatory framework is desirable.
