''A great place to be cared for; a great place to work''
Do you want to work for an organisation who has just received an overall rating of GOOD from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) with a rating of OUTSTANDING in care?
Are you driven to developing our local healthcare to meet the needs of patients?
One specifically linked to the Audit Committee and the other linked with the Quality Committee are a wonderful opportunity to work alongside the Chair, other Non-Executives and Executive directors to inform, deliver and develop our approach to delivering high quality care. These posts are also a great way to support your local community through the development of great local Health care.
Are you ready to lead pioneering change across a healthcare system?
Non-Executive Directors work alongside the Chairman and Executive Directors of the Foundation Trust Board to advise on the development of strategy and to oversee the performance of the hospital, bringing independent and objective judgement to bear on issues of strategy, performance and resources.
These posts will also be a key part of the oversight and assurance to inform our approach to developing a Strategic Transformation Plan to work across Health and Social Care in Cumbria and Lancashire.

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record and Board-level experience in large, complex organisations. They will demonstrate capability in strategic thinking and the ability to challenge, influence and build consensus on a wide range of issues.
One post requires a Financial and/or Accounting qualification with senior level experience to support the Trust Audit Committee. Both posts will require an understanding of topical issues affecting the NHS and knowledge/experience of the Transformation agenda across the Morecambe Bay footprint would be distinctly advantageous.
Remuneration will be £12,000 per annum for a minimum commitment of 2/2 days per month. This may be during the working day or in the evening.
The selection process will take place in two parts; an informal meeting with key stakeholders, which will take place on the week commencing 12th June and formal interviews, which will take place the week commencing 19th June.
