Andium Homes is seeking an outstanding candidate to take up the role of Chair. Andium Homes is the major developer of affordable homes for purchase and rental within Jersey. The landlord of choice for Islanders on Jersey, Andium Homes provides services for more than 10,000 people in over 4,500 top quality homes delivering gold standard services and many unique services to all aspects of the community, working closely with other organisations on Jersey, including a number of third sector agencies such as the Shelter Trust and the Women’s Refuge. With a substantial development pipeline of over 3,000 additional homes by 2030, Andium Homes is uniquely positioned to touch upon and impact all aspects of the wider community within Jersey.

Andium Homes is committed to serving the needs of Islanders on Jersey in its fullest sense. The new Chair will be responsible for maintaining the organisation’s strong reputation in delivering top quality services and to ensure that the organisation is governed effectively. Following a period of transition, the organisation will look to the new Chair to lead it through a period of further strengthening and take this dynamic organisation to further heights.

The new Chair will be passionate about providing the highest quality of homes, working in partnership with all local key stakeholders and committed to serving the needs of the community. As such, the successful candidate will need to be an experienced and influential leader, with strategic drive, vision and a passion and interest in Jersey as a place. They will bring experience of chairing complex discussions and leading debates in an inclusive manner. They will bring an appreciation of the social, economic and political environment in which Andium Homes operates within, along with an understanding of both the social and commercial objectives of the organisation. With high levels of political sensitivity, candidates will be adept at communicating effectively and building strong relationships inside and outside the organisation.
